Nursing

Our home is staffed at all times with registered nurses and respiratory therapists. We offer many services to meet our residents' care needs. Some of our specialties include:

Wound Care
We have an excellent track record in wound care and have become well-known for treating and healing wounds on patients who have just been admitted to our facility.  We use a tried and true protocol to treat wounds quickly and effectively.

Intravenous (IV) Therapy
We work closely with our pharmacy and physicians to maintain correct feeding levels and monitor laboratory values.

Tube Feeding
We have aregistered dietician on staff, who directs the administration of all enteral and parenteral feedings.

Rehabilitation

Medical conditions requiring rehabilitation services include fracture, stroke, joint replacement, surgery, and many other complex medical issues. Our on-site rehabilitation team specializes in the specific needs of the patient to maximize abilities to return the patient to their prior level of function.

Physical Therapy
Mobility restoration, neuromuscular facilitation, assistive ambulation device training, endurance improvement, and muscle strengthening Modalities: Ultrasound, E-Stim, Diathermy.

Occupational Therapy
Activities of Daily Living re-training (includes restoring ability for bathing, dressing ,grooming, driving, housekeeping, and hobbies) Orthotic assessments, positioning, home modifications and hand therapy.

Speech/Language Pathology
Swallow function, diet consistency modification , oral-motor strengthening, receptive/expressive/cognitive/voice re-training, Vital Stim and dementia management.

 Outpatient Therapy
We also offer out-patient therapy services on site for those who still need therapy after going home. This allows the patient to continue working with the same therapist.

Respiratory Therapy Services
Ventilator and Tracheotomy care with 24 hour Registered Nurse and Respiratory Therapist coverage
Ventilator and Tracheotomy care services due to: Respiratory Failure, Lung Disease, Chest Injury, Cardiac Disorders, Neurological Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig’s Disease, Motor Vehicle Accident, Post Operative Weaning Failure, Complications resulting from other Pulmonary Disease.
